No compromise, beyond the limits of a production model.
A finish beyond a production model
We allowed no compromise in developing this muffler and went beyond the limits of a production model. All stainless SUS304, all TIG welded, with equal-length main pipes and beautifully shaped piping: the ultimate finish.
Five prototypes
We built five prototypes. At the final stage we even made versions with different perforation sizes inside the silencer, chasing the sound quality. The result is a sound range that recalls the JGTC NSX racing sound.
The best choice for an automatic NSX
Main pipe 50.8 mm, tail end 90 mm. This model was deliberately developed around the V6 3000 cc engine, 1500 cc per bank, which makes it the best fit for an automatic NSX. It looks good from behind, too.
Sound and power
The sound may become louder after installation.
Replacing both the exhaust manifold and the muffler increases power. A different ECU setting can bring even more performance.
