A lightweight muffler born from what owners asked for.
The GT005 "good sound", kept
It uses the main silencer from the GT005, loved for its "good sound", in SUS304 1 mm stainless, all TIG welded, with the stock left/right exits. Tail end 90 mm, 20° slash cut. A lightweight model at 8.8 kg.
Developed from owners' requests
Many NSX owners called us wanting to enjoy the GT005 sound without modifying the rear of the car. That is what started the GT106.
The price stayed the same, and an inner silencer is included.
Sound and response
Tuned for the best sound with the stock catalytic converter and stock manifold. The short main silencer turns the NSX into a gentleman's sports car: not a loud roar, but a volume and sound that suit the city, with a very adaptable response. For a higher sound and sharper response, pair it with the GT011 exhaust manifold.
Inner silencer included
With the silencer fitted, the car can pass Japanese vehicle inspection. The GT106 is not a certified inspection part, but it meets the inspection standards.
